We discovered Velour tucked inside a mansion in Sydney — not docked or stored, but displayed along the wall like a sculpture. Suspended in stillness, she gathered dust in silence, a forgotten icon treated like art, waiting to be awakened. The moment we saw her, we knew she wasn’t just a vessel. She was a relic from a golden era, still brimming with potential and quiet power.
Handbuilt in 1965, Velour is a rare Italian speedboat with undeniable presence. Her sleek, two-toned timber body — deep mahogany paired with warm honey wood — and her smooth crème fibreglass hull pay tribute to timeless design. Inside, rich forest green upholstery sets a tone of depth and contrast. To honour her past and reimagine her future, we created custom wine-red velvet cushions embroidered with her name, adding a soft, personal touch that blends heritage with new energy. We also built a custom trailer in deep forest green to echo her interior — a seamless match that makes every arrival as striking as the ride.
